Oral presentation

Basic study on batchwise multi-step extraction

Sasaki, Yuji; Morita, Keisuke; Matsumiya, Masahiko*

no journal, ,

The separation and isolation of Dy from Nd magnet is important task for the rare-metal recycles. These lanthanide metal ions have normally low separation factors because of same oxidation state and similar ionic radii. Therefore, multi-step extractions are indispensable in order to increase mutual separation factors. We performed the batchwise multi-step extraction for the mutual separation of Nd and Dy using diglycolamide extractant. The analytical results will be shown in the poster presentation.
